The evidence available so far suggests that there is *no* increased risk to
the baby of breastfeeding with Hepatitis C, especially in the early months
as long as the baby has maternal antibodies in his blood. Some suggest that
once these antibodies have disappeared, the baby may be at risk, but only
under special circumstances.

There should be no concern about breastfeeding and being Hepatitis B
positive.
