When I corresponded with Medela's Vice President regarding the public and
blatant disregard of their "mandatory-or-we-will-not-sell-PNS's-to you"
policy,  he said the following,

"(They) are not getting their supply of PNS's from us."   And, obviously,
Medela is making no attempt to solve the problem.

Other manufacturers of quality equipment will not honor the warranty of
their products if the owner cannot produce a sales receipt from an
authorized retailer..........hhhhmmmm?

Nope.  Medela doesn't do that either.

IMHO, ........1)  remove the price controls and let the market decide.  2)
If the market decides the pumps are only WORTH $150 - 200, then retailers
will not bother to buy the equipment (at current prices) for resale because
there's not enough left over for a modest profit and to pay for ordering,
shipping, carrying, and promoting them to clients that need them........the
manufacturer loses.  Not us.

The end-users are OUR customers, NOT the pump manufacturer's.  WE are the
manufacturer's customer, therefore, we are the one's with the power......and
as a group, we are VERY powerful.

Empowered..(*smile*).....that's what we are!  In addition, there are some
extremely wise competitors about to pierce this market.  (I am not one of
them nor do I have a financial interest in any of them.  I am not alone,
though, in eagerly awaiting their birth!)
