Cindy, I too am interested.

Why would a human baby be sensitive to human milk proteins...and if the
human baby was sensitive to human  milk proteins, why would giving the
human baby cow's milk proteins be better (I am assuming the proteins in the
alternative formula are cow's milk) ?  And if the baby is very sensitive,
why would withholding the most hypoallergenic food available (human milk)
be a good idea?

This is a story that cries out to the parents ' get a second or third
opinion before you decide on going with the first one'.
