Regarding the recent questions on fenugreek:
First of all, Fenugreek with Thyme would not be a good solution for a mom
with low supply as Thyme can have an adverse drying effect and should be
consumed minimally during bf. Plain ol' Fenugreek is your best best or
Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle.
Secondly, regarding Fenugreek for lowering blood sugar in diabetes...this is
correct. This is why Fenugreek is not recommended in moms with
hypoglycemia. Better to use Blessed Thistle in such cases. Additionally,
just a side note...$25-$50 per month for Fenugreek taken twice daily???
WOW!! Highway robbery, if you ask me. Fenugreek capsules (average dose
500-525 mg per capsule) taken 2 capsules twice daily for lowering blood
sugar should not cost more than $15 - $20 for 150 capsules (over a one-month
supply). Fenugreek is easy to come by and very inexpensive. Anyone
charging a price over $20 is taking advantage.
By the way, a very happy Easter weekend to all who celebrate such!

Wishing you health and wellness!
