Okay, I promise this is my last post on this subject!

I do think the Air Force Aid Society has done a wonderful job for Air
Force families. There is no denying this, and each base makes its own
decisions as to how to spend the money.

Sharon mentioned that the Womanly Art was given out at the base where she
was stationed. This is a great idea! Education! As far as pumps, why
not give the voucher after baby is born. If mom is going back to work,
she can use the voucher to purchase a pump. If mom has a preemie baby,
engorgement, baby not nursing, etc, she can use the voucher for a pump
rental.

I think it is great that Breastfeeding is seen as important enough to
help moms with gaining access to pumps, but I still think it is a mistake
to give pumps to moms who do not have a need. What message is being
sent? Not to mention financial waste.

Stepping down now. :)
