This has long been a source of anger for me.  I openly
and directly confront ANYONE that uses that term in my
presence.   As a person of Jewish derivation and
daughter of a camp liberator, I find the term more
than offensive.  A few years ago I had a discussion w/
a young doc at the nurse's station after he used this
term (in humor) towards me.  He was a man and
apologized and admitted that it was wrong of him to
say that.  I am a women's health care advocate; not a
murderer.
