human milk is the most complete food ever invented (as is the milk of all
mammals if used for their offspring) and I believe it could feed adults as well
without missing anything (nutrition-like that is), the problem with people above
infant age is that they need such large amounts of it to get the amount of
nutrients needed from a diluted liquid food.
That brings me to the other thread of using human milk for severely ill people.
I've once or twice heard mentioning human donor milk for severely undernourished
patients with a long term of no or very little food in the GI tract, like
anorexia patients. It was supposed to be used while it is so easily digested and
it does not bother the the intestines as can normal food after a period of
fasting.
