I may have understood wrong, but I thought they wrote that the controls were asked questions about baby care, but not sleeping arrangements. So no real comparison.
Also I missed any indication wether the bedsharing was incidental or habit. Incidental bedsharing has been reported to be a riskfactor.
What I'd like to see is a real comparison of bedsharing habits and incidence of Sids in western societies and societies where bedsharing is the norm.
