I just read a post and it brought up the subject of nipple
shields. Does any one use them on a regular basis? I
personallly avoid them until the very last resort, (maybe 1-2
times per year) I had an awful experience with them with my
first child. before I knew anything about breastfeeding,
despite normal nipples the nurse gave me one and I used it...
she gave it to me beacuse baby was not latching on well in
first day of life. This same hospital STILL does this!!
Arughhhhhh. LaLeache saved me... wonderful leader told me how
to wean baby off it. I think this is what spurred me to help
otheres. Something good always comes of something bad. :)
