Hello all,

Is there anything that can be done about this? I think this was my favorite
part of the exhausting consult I did Saturday - when the mom very
seriously questioned giving baby sensory cues, time to organize, "laid back"
approach etc because "my Mom is a lactation consultant in a hospital and she
showed me how to shove the baby's head and smoosh the breast into her mouth."

Why is this so widespread still? Is it because in the US we are 90%
Baby-Not-Friendly?
Argh.

Peace,
Judy
