To play with fire a bit: - 

Human milk vs. formula milk IS a choice.  


Unfortunately it is a coerced choice.  It COULD be a free choice IF we could
get the formula companies to reduce their spending on advertising to the
total amount spent by breastfeeding advocates.  Here in the US however we
work toward a free-market economy and only those who can afford the cost can
buy the advertising.
