Thanks to those of you for your kind comments after I reviewed the article
by Dr. Buist.
Fortunately, so far for me, since I usually know more about breastfeeding
than my editors, I have been able to convince the editors to use
"breastfeeding."
Those editors who knew as much as I did, did not need any convincing.
I do appreciate Alice Dermer's comments, though.
Let it be known though, that my wife's term is still my favorite:
breastfeasting.
