Lea - I was also bothered by the fact that when I (and other IBCLCs)
attended one of its conferences MANY years ago, the owners, who were the
only presenters, gave much information that was completely erroneous. When
I read some of their educational brochures, they also had much
misinformation in them. All of that soured me on the organization and the
credentials it conferred on unsuspecting registrants who became LCs
practicing under the misguided training. Caveat emptor!!!!

Warm regards,

Honestly it has always bothered me that BFHI, USA and Healthy Children are
in essence the same organization and that the Executive Director of Healthy
Children is also a board member of ALPP, BFHI, USA and owns the property
that several of the organizations rent.
