Coach Smith here. Everyone, update your virus-protection software and scan
your computers for viruses NOW, today, immediately. This isn't a joke, and I
know I'm risking the wrath of the list mothers for posting this.
A new dangerous virus is circulating around the lactation community - we've
received at least 5 infected attachments in the past several days from known
colleagues. Just opening an e-mail for reading can cause problems. Do not
open ANY odd-sounding e-mail. Especially do not open attachments you weren't
expecting, even from old friends or trusted colleagues. Do not forward
anything you're the slightest bit unsure about.
The virus may also pretend to be a mailing from a known web site like BFLRC.
We don't send bulk e-mails or attachments.
Be careful, once again!
