I have a nursing background but as a foreign wife was not allowed to work
for several years on moving to Malaysia.
I got in my clinical hours by 1. training as a breastfeeding counsellor
with mom support group & counselling for many years. 2. Working on a
voluntary basis on a govt. hospital P/N ward seeing all new moms re;
breastfeeding. 3. training health workers in breastfeeding on a voluntary
basis.
Tammy, i don't know if this is any help where you are. Be patient - it took
a long time!!!
