Subject: prophylactic lanolin

I definitely do not recommend lanolin prophylactically. My understanding is
the product is useful for moist *wound* healing and if there is no wound
there is no need for the product.
I do use it on my lips in the wintertime. I find it helps chapped lips.

Always on the look out for an extra tube of lanolin, even though I haven't
nursed in over two years!
