Flavors from garlic and other strong foods are identified in breastmilk.  March 1995- Mennella
JA.  Mothers' Milk a Medium for Early Flavor Experiences  volume 11(1) 39-46.  This is a
very good article!  We need more info, but that flavors in breastmilk may prepare the infant to
accept strong flavors in his/her cultural foods.
