Lactnetters:
I had an exciting meeting today. Administration at our hospital is finally
ready to hear a plan to keep Mom's and babes together. Of course there is
concern with adequate staff and how are we are going to admit babies and where
(L & D or Postpartum). I was invited to be on the task force to come up with
a plan. We had our first meeting today. How have some of you done this at
your hospitals? Where are you admitting babies? Are you moving Mom and babe
together? What about c-sections? How are clients accepting total rooming in?
Are patients still being charged for nursery? Our next meeting is January 28
and I would like to have some good input.
You all are so great! I have so appreciated responses to a few past
questions. What a caring group!!!!!
Thank You in advance!
