Okay, I know I am covering two very unrelated topics--- at least at this
time. :)

I guess I have to accept the fact that not everyone is a Lactnut, and in
so doing I must say that I doubt the septuplets will be breastfed. I
hope that I am wrong, but...... The family who had 6 babies that has
been followed in the media---I do not think there was any breastfeeding.
A local family was interviewed recently in Hawai'i who had
quadruplets----not breastfed. I thought it would be possible to nurse
one even two every two hours at least, but then I reminded myself I am
not in their shoes. I just can't see myself mothering my children in any
other way then through breastfeeding (nurturing).

Lice or "ukus" as we call them in Hawai'i. Not a big deal to my husband
as it was a fact of life in Vietnam. It is also an everyday, year round
occurrence in Hawai'i as you can imagine. It is something you know you
just have to deal with.

ALLLoha,
Gloria Thai LLLLeader Hawai'i who is knocking on wood that the ukus
have not come to roost in the
