Note that my now 5 year old son once "flunked" a developmental exam when it
came to feeding a baby.  The examiner gave him a small doll and a bottle
and he was supposed to feed the baby.  He must have been about 18 mos. at
the time and was tandem nursing with his then 2 month old sister.  He
didn't have a clue what the bottle was for, and I told the examiner so.
She said that certainly he must have seen babies taking a bottle, and I
replied that to my knowledge I couldn't recall him ever being around a
bottle fed baby and certainly no one ever told him that the bottle
contained food. :-)
