1.  You are are NOT prescribing herbal galactogogues; you are recommending herbal galactogogues
2.  You may recommend anything you want: herbals, supplements, OTC drugs, and, yes, even prescription drugs; it is up to the patient to take your advice or not (this does not mean you should give uninformed advice)
3.  You are not prescribing; you are recommending
4.  Herbal galactogogues are considered to be foods by the FDA, not drugs
4.  Here is the icing on the cake: who would you rather recommend herbal galactogogues--a healthcare professional like you, or a stranger or the clerk at the nutrition store (who recommend all the time--isn't that interesting) or some uninformed friend or relative?
