There is an article by Louse Acheson, MD, MS.  "Family Violence and
Breast-feeding" from the Archives of Family Medicine Vol. 4, July 1995.  I
quote"The review revealed a previously unsuspected association
between lack of breast-feeding and physical and sexual abuse of the
women and/or her chilgren."  Hope this helps
