Debi, flip it around to prove it.   We've all been posting about how much
less good breastmilk feeding is than direct breastfeeding, but for this ped's
purposes using expressed milk ought to have no advantages at all as against
bottle feeding formula, right?   So if there are any studies out there in
which the kids got mom's milk in a bottle those ought to work for you.

(not that I can name any off the top of my head,  but it does seem easier
than finding studies where the bottle-fed kids were controlled for whether
anyone but mom was holding the bottle)
