In my area, one office checked the cost of a course of Diflucan for a
mom and was quoted approximately $500.  A mom I worked with asked at her
pharmacy, and a 20 day course of tx would cost about $300, but with her
insurance coverage it would only be $40.28.

Many MD's are reluctant to prescribe Diflucan because of the cost.  If a
mom checks the cost and reports back to the doctor, maybe we will be
able to get more cooperation in the treatment of thrush.
