For an asymptomatic patient with endometriosis(and obviously no current
probelms with infertility) I might not treat at all. However my first
choice for treatment if I decided to treat would be oral contriceptives
which are not contraindicated in a mom with an extablished milk supply!!
I would encourage her to question the physician again as to why she
needs to treat this problem now and his choice of drugs.
