Has this mom tried feeding some from the bottle to "take the edge off" baby's hunger and then going to breast for the rest of the feeding? When baby is at the peak of hunger they may react 2 very different ways. One seems to say, "I'll take it whatever way I can." and will go to breast when they might not otherwise. The others seem to say, "Don't ask me to try something I am not familiar/comfortable with when I feel I am starving!" Many times my approach with nursing problems is, "If what you are trying isn't working, try the opposite!" Amaxzingly, it often works.

Winnie-(glad I can still post to the old address and have it forwarded because I can't get messages through any other way)
