HI Patricia,
This is what nuclear medicine uses when doing lung scans in the hospital I
worked at.
Check what the dose they gave most times it is 3-5 mCi.  With these doses a
mom would need to pump and SAVE her milk for 12 hours.  In our hospital I had
to make a compromise of 24 hours so that the half life of the drug was almost
down to zero.
After 12 hours she can resume breastfeeding and also can use her expressed
breast milk as needed.
