At the facility where i work we nolonger use the soft plastic bottles and
only the hard plastic ones because of the potential "leaching" of a chemical
(? what it is) into the breastmilk or formula. The rep from one of the two
big formula companies brought in some paper work (sorry, not sure if i am
supposed to say which company or not) and told us all about it. I guess what
she brought in was convincing enough because Kathy ( in charge of Lactation
Services) was talking about it to our SCN nurses.
