Personally, I agree with you.  I do like to give credit, though, where it
is deserved.  If someone becomes certified in a profession or specialty,
they use their title of Lactation Consultant.  Because I am not "certified"
yet, I prefer to use Lactation Counselor.  I earned my RN and plan to earn
the title of Consultant.
