Hello All,

Thank you Marsha Walker for sharing. This is what I would like to see happening. I have been asking myself and talking with others about why  the insurance companies have not been talking with those of us in the Lactation community!  

Another concern of mine is that what I am seeing is that every pregnant/post partum woman is requesting and receiving a breast pump. In many cases, women who do not have a need for a pump (will not be regularly separated from baby nor experiencing breastfeeding issues) are receiving breast pumps. I have a problem with this on so many levels. I did voice my concerns at a meeting recently in my area with Anthem. Am I the only one? I would love to see the policy you shared put into place!
