In 1974 while attending La Leche League meetings, a new mom in the
group also raised goats for their milk for manyh years.
She told the group that when the kids were born they milked each
momma goat for its colostrum and filled an ice cube tray with it labeled
with that goat's name.  If the kid developed diarrhea in the critical
first weeks to 3-4 months, the thawed colostrum from its own mother
always fixed it.
