Just a suggestion. When the formula rep came to our unit and did the little
film against my wishes, I went to the session. Every time the person on the
film said something wrong, I made him stop the film and I explained how poor
it was, how misinformed, how negative to breastfeeding. It was hysterical!
So if they come to your hospital, go and be an annoyance. Speak for the
truth!!! It works. It helps to have all the facts on the tip of your
tongue, too. For the person going to the conference, go to the lectures and
be an annoyance, Anybody every been to a lecture with Maureen? She is great
at pointing out inconsistencies spouted by lecturers. We all need to keep on
our toes and keep each other on our toes.
By the way, I have the BEST stuff from Ross. The multi-language hand-outs
are pretty good. We don't have ready access to Arabic material, and really
need it.
