Yasmeen,

I have had several moms with a similar occurrence. They have all been rather thin anyway. 1 mom's physician, after numerous tests, actually ordered a PET scan to rule out any underlying cancer. On a personal note, this happened to my sister with all 3 of her kids whom she breasfed for extended periods of time. She became almost emaciated and was constantly looking for ways to boost calories!
