Hello to old friends and new subscribers. I am back on lactnet
after being nomail most of the time since early November. Can't
guarantee I will keep up, but I certainly enjoy and learn a lot from
your collective posts. Please e-mail privately if you want to be
sure to reach me.

On my most recent travels, 100% holiday for a change, I came back
through Thailand for a few days and was once again impressed with
the breastfeeding culture. I saw stall holders at the markets
breastfeeding as if no-one had ever suggested they set up a private
room to pump their milk while at work. I saw elephants breastfeeding
and found the working mothers easy to identify by the breasts hanging
between their front legs and the calf (is that the right word?)
running around behind them. However, the highlight was a TV
advertisement for a fan, showing a family (in a classy bedroom) all
sleeping together.
