I'm wondering what the youngest gestational age premie you all have
seen/worked with who could 1) nurse at birth, 2)nurse completely soon after
without the mother losing her mind.3) survived, and was healthy.

I have a friend who is 24 weeks pregnant and has been in labor for about a
month. She's on terbutaline and indomethicin, and bedrest. I'd like to be
able to offer her some encouragement as to the young gestational age births
and successful nursing. She has a 3 yo who weaned during (and probably
would have kept going) and is quite committed to nursing.
