I agree. Pumping should start early and often, because that's what the baby
would have been doing.  You can post my reply to Lactnet - I'm agreeing with
you, and appreciated the long posts about "when to pump." If you get supply
well established with pumps, you've got room to work while the baby gets his
act together.

I almost never see these problems in unmedicated births.
