This is why I always recommend infant massage as a wonderful way for dad
to bond with baby. They can gaze into baby's eyes, get lots of skin to
skin, and provide comfort with this simple activity.  I may not be able
to get them past feeling that they need to do something, but I can at
least give them a bottle-free bonding activity.
