Was the testing done simply because of the increased stooling?

Is the baby gaining well?  irritable?  Any indication of maternal oversupply?

If the testing was done in an otherwise thriving newborn who is stooling 
frequently, then there doesn't seem to be any reason to regard the testing as 
necessary or the informaion from it as useful.
