Pat -
I beg to differ with you on this one. Out in the western US there are long
distances between places and I spend lots of time teaching moms to
breastfeed in a car seat. It is not uncommon for parents to drive to visit
family and go 200 to 800 miles (330 to 1330 km) over the weekend. If they
do not know how to keep both of them buckled, the baby is invariably taken
out or mom tries to pump and bottle feed in the car. I think bottle feeding
a baby who is lying down in a moving vehicle is much more dangerous!

miles away and tandem nursing

Patty, you forgot to relate it to BF by saying do not BF baby in a moving
car, in or out of the proper size car seat. :-) Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
