I imagine it's a personal preference thing. I despise anise and anything
that has a licorice flavor. If you like that flavor, I imagine you'd find
the tea quite tasty.

That would probably be a result of the anise and/or fennel, which are well
known for their digestion soothing properties. Anise is often recommended
for colicky infants.
