First, I want to apologize if I offended the original poster who mentioned
that she had contacted Maureen Minchin and had not heard back right away. I
guess it sounded snippy to me, but was not meant in that fashion at all. We
all have our bad days when something strikes us the wrong way, and email is
so impersonal, even with emoticons like :( and ;) that things can easily
be misconstrued. So -- my apologies to that poster, and to anyone else whom
I have unintentionally offended. I try to do my intentional offending by
private email!  ;)

Also, I want to take this opportunity once again to thank the Kathleens
(Bruce and Auerbach), who devote so much of their time and energy, without
pay!! to keeping LactNet functioning, to soothing ruffled feathers, to
reminding those of us who need reminding to be NICE (I'm talking about
MYSELF here). This is a great forum for the exchange of information,
experience, ideas, data, and opinions. It is a great forum for mobilizing
letter-writing, for providing support to those who support moms, for venting
when we need to vent. I can't imagine life without LactNet -- how did I
survive for so many years???? And I am deeply grateful to the Kathleens for
organizing this incredible resource and for keeping it going.

Kathy D.
