Yesterday (1/22/01) a mom calls into the radio show asking if it is
reasonable to end a friendship due to small differences.  The small
difference is because both friends have 19 month old children and one is
still being breastfed.  The caller thought it was somehow harming her
friend's baby to be breastfed this long.

Dr. Laura said she didn't know of any reason it might be harming the
child to be breastfed at 19 months but suggested if the caller thought
it was to a)  call children's protective services and b)  send to Dr.
Laura via fax anything the caller could find on the harmful nature of
breastfeeding a child this long.
