I must say that doctors often think that human milk may not have enough
calories, or that it is lacking in `something'...I often just respond to my
colleagues that woman in developing countries who are often undernourished
have very similar milk makeup in comparison to U.S. moms, and then they
usually don't say anything more. I usually find that doctors are suprised
when I suggest that mom could pump in between nursings to try to supplement
