Posting for Terri Lear:

I am working with a mom, pregnant with second baby, due in August. She
could not breastfeed the first one due to (possible, but never officially
diagnosed) nevoid hyperkeratosis and it’s back. She’s all crusty and yellow on
the tips of her nipples and wants to do whatever she can to increase her
chances of successfully breastfeeding. Her dermatologist is squeamish about
looking at her nipples and gave her a steroid cream to apply which she says
only makes it worse. Any ideas? Please send private emails to
[log in to unmask] Thanks.
