I recently read an article in Advance for Nurses Magazine (1-20-03) that had a fairly good description of milk protein intolerance. It can be accessed at:
http://www.advancefornurses.com/editorial/nw/1-20-2003/03jan20_n1p25.html?frominc=editorial&pub=ADVANCE+for+Nurses+Online&issuedate=1%2F20%2F2003&searchstring=warning+signs

It is good information to help explain to parents the difference between lactose intolerance and protein intolerance, plus information about incidence and treatment.

Ann Calandro, RNC, IBCLC
