Catherine, I couldn't have said it better.  I have just about lost my mind
here in a sea of legal ooze and medical disasters (my own) when I looked up
to read your post.  Wow...I have to say, I feel like I could have written
them myself (but then, maybe my title is patting myself on the back too
much).  Over the past 13 years I have witnessed this exact progression so
many times and have sat and watched mother nature's way work so well so many
times that I am convinced that breastfeeding DOES work IF we let it and we
don't muck up the process (that means we have to actually step back and not
muck up the birth and pregnancy process too).  It is too bad that I haven't
practiced what I preach in my own health  because I've gotten into a whole
iatrogenic domino effect that is very hard to break.  Keep up the great
work!
