Yikes.  Assuming these weights are correct, this is a serious 
situation. This is one skinny, underfed baby.  Why is the doctor not 
worried?  I have come across mothers who don't see how skinny their 
babies are - just realised, maybe the doc has not seen the baby and 
is just getting phone reports of the lack of stooling?

The lack of stooling isn't a problem in itself - it's the lack of weight.

Clearly, bf has not gone well from the start (unless there is some 
other rare explanation of the weight loss - but 99 times out of 100, 
these cases are just that the baby isn't eating enough).

When you say 'feeding pattern normal' what does this mean exactly?

If this info was presented in the UK, ths baby would be sent to 
hospital, and quickly.
