Hi, I'm Deborah Tobin. I've been a Lactnetter now for several weeks. I log on
two or three times a day. I work outside the home part-time, so its doable.
I've made many files and folders in my computer for many topics discussed
on-line here, complete with who said what when. I can copy and save a piece
of text in no time flat. My daughter comes in to chat, I try to resist the
screen, its difficult. She said "I see you've adopted Lactnet as your new
daughter". Some evenings I don't see my sons for hours. My husband peeks in
to ask questions then quietly, sweetly, re-shuts the door. Guess that makes
him the enabler. Some evenings I avoid the computer room completely. This
works well unless my husband gets his mail or gets online. "How much longer
you gonna be on?" I say casual-like. I'm trying to stay cool, can't
resist,..... "Get my mail!". My laundry is piled up in the family room, and
right now I'm missing my favorite show "ER", but I feel compelled to read and
learn. Is there a support group or step program for this situation? Let me
know if you find such help!
