Try being preemptive. I took a copy of Jack's handout on its use to
the local pharmacy that caters to other breastfeeding needs. I gave
it to the pharmacist, and asked him if he usually stocked g.v.. Not
always (and I had had one client say she got grief about asking for it
for thrush). I ordered a bottle for myself and urged them to order at
least one more for the shelf, explaining that there *would* be buyers
tho there might not be many. I now keep a bottle in my bag, to save
mothers a trip and spare them the possibility that the pharmacy's out,
and the pharmacist knows now that there's a small market for it and
that it's endorsed by at least one MD... even tho that MD is one a
them suspect North of the Border types ;-)
