Hello-

This is my first post although I have been reading the thoughts from all of your brilliant minds for several months. I am new to the profession (taking the exam in July) and am in the process of starting a private practice in California. I am curious if anyone can speak to the pros and cons of applying for non-profit status. I would like to have my office in my church but in order to do so I need to have a 501(c)(3). I am trying to decide if this is a path I should go down and would love to hear your thoughts, particulalry if you know an LC that functions within a church setting.

Thank you!!

Heather Conway
